Things A Drift in Ship Bottom will kick-off the celebration of International Sea Glass Day as it hosts the annual LBI Sea Glass and Art Festival on October 2 and 3, 2021.

“Things A Drift has been the perpetual host for the Annual LBI Sea Glass and Art Festival for the past eleven years,” said Cheryl Kirby, owner of Things A Drift. “We’re looking forward to celebrating International Sea Glass Day as part of our annual festivities this year and every year.”

“We are proud and pleased that the Borough recognizes the significance of sea glass and sea glass collecting,” said Kirby. “It’s wonderful that something as small as a piece of sea glass, frosted and smoothed by time and tides, fosters global goodwill, creates commerce, inspires creativity, and continues to build a growing community of friends.”
